Between being a mother of 2 beautiful babes, running your own business 'My Visual Currency' and renovating your dream home, how do you make time for you?
Describe your perfect day in the bay?
Snuggles in bed with the kids (my favourite part of everyday). Coffee and breaky at the beach all morning, home for a nap time, and then an afternoon drink at Raes or Farm. Somewhere outside where Fox can run while we relax!
What do you love most about being behind the camera?
Being creative is like a balm for my soul. The ability to show others the way I see the world, is such a gift. And to call it work is almost laughable. Everyday that I get to go to “work” is such a privilege for me. I feel so incredibly lucky that my passion in life has become my job.
What’s your current wardrobe essential?
A chunky sandal. It can dress up any outfit. I swap between The Row Ginza Slides and the chunky Prada Mary Janes. I’m short ( 5ft 3 ) so I need something with a little height, but I also have to run around after a 2 year old while wearing a 3 month old so they also have to be practical!
Describe your style in 3 words?
I find this question so hard. Because it’s forever ebbing and flowing depending on my mood. Sometimes I’m comfortable chic in all monochromatic oversized clothes. Other times it’s figure hugging rainbow spewed on me. So maybe chaotic? Haha.
What’s your current obsession?
Really terrible tacky Christmas movies. It’s my FAVOURITE thing to do this time of year, and I look forward to it every November.
What is the best advice you have been given?
Don’t do anything to please others. Do whatever it is that fuels your soul. Because if you’re creating for others - you’re loosing your own unique vision.
What Luv Lou style are you wearing currently?
I have the Stevie in black and I can honestly say they’re my go to glasses now. I can’t leave the house without them. I need a pair to leave in every handbag hahaha.
