What does a day in the life of Natty Bee look like?
Every day is different! The reality of modelling means I’m always ‘on call’ to either shoot, send a self tape or run to a casting at short notice. I’ve definitely learnt to be flexible and keep track of a bottomless to-do list in Notes. There’s something comforting about a routine so I try and insert structure into my day where I can, whether thats a pilates class or just having a slow breakfast. If I’m not modelling, I’m producing social content for brands, packing orders for my co-run business Hung Supply or trying to unwind with a good book.
How did you get into modelling? What has been the highlight of your career?
I never really thought about modelling until my older sister got into it after high school. I thought she was the coolest thing since sliced bread so naturally I followed suit.
I’ve been fortunate to have had some amazing experiences as a model and actress. A highlight was getting flown to the Caribbean to shoot a TV series pilot.
How would you best describe your style in 3 words?
Very mood dependent.
What are your hand bags essentials?
Depends on where I am going. Usually makeup, lip balm, sunscreen, a mask, sanitiser, deodorant, sunnies, keys, afro comb, curl product, kindle or headphones.
If you could have dinner with any 5 people, who would you invite?
Issa Rae to make everyone laugh, Zoe Kravitz so I can just stare at her, Rihanna so I can learn boss business moves, Viola Davis because what a woman and Florence Pugh for just an endless stream of British banter.
What’s your favorite Luv Lou style?
I love the Dusty in Rust and The Olive in Vintage.
